I’m excited to share that two of my paintings have been selected for the Anna Singer Art 2025 exhibition at the Singer Museum in Laren! From 18–23 November, the museum will showcase a vibrant mix of around twenty contemporary artists — from paintings and sculptures to photography and mixed media. All works were carefully chosen by the Anna Singer Art Committee for their artistic vision, originality, and distinctive quality. It’s an honour to be part of this inspiring group of artists and to show my work in such a special place. The exhibition is open to all museum visitors, while the purchase or loan of artworks is exclusively available to Friends, Young Singers, Fellows and Fellow Founders of Singer Laren.
Singer Museum opening hours:
Tue–Sat: 10:00–17:00
Sun: 10:00–16:00

At first glance "Amsterdam Ceiling Fan" (60 x 60 cm) shows a familiar Amsterdam scene, canal houses and bridges. But quietly floating above it all, a ceiling fan.I made this work to reflect on the growing tension between urban life and environmental change. “Amsterdam Ceiling Fan” refers to the so called Urban Heat Island effect. Cities like Amsterdam trapping heat and amplifying temperatures. A phenomenon that will only increase with climate change. The bright colours and restless waves in the canal symbolise that something is shifting. The scene may seem playful at first, but there’s an underlying urgency. Well, even the most familiar places are changing. Weather we notice it or not.

From Gouden Bocht (Herengracht) to the Zuidas, this new piece (100-100 cm) shows how Amsterdam keeps growing in business but still stays true to its roots.

100 meters above Amsterdam, I'll be showing my latest paintings. A rare opportunity to experience my work in a unique setting high above the city. Away from noise.
Address: Symphony Tower (26th floor), Gustav Mahlerplein 3-117 (Zuidas) Amsterdam. Day and Time: Saturday, June 14, 10.00 - 17.00. FREE ENTRY.

This new piece (80-100 cm) is part of Seasons on the Green Lawn. A series that captures the seasons in quiet, familiar moments. The painting reflect the feeling of winter. So, the two red chairs sit side by side, lightly covered in snow, facing out across the quiet lawn. This figure in jeans and bright sneakers pulls a sled away, just the edge of a story. Above, snow gently tumbles from the branches of a tree, stirred by a breeze. It's a small moment, but something is happening. That quiet energy in winter, the hush, the breath, the stillness before more footsteps.
