"Twig with Flowers" is funny enough and literally a composition. The work is inspired by 2 small drawings from work of old family and 19th century Dutch master painter Georgius van Os. Actually, I was very exited about some of his still life work where the Morning Glory flowers made part of. I took these Morning Glory out of his work - so to say - and wanted to give it a complete new dimension. It had to be simple still life where even the colors of the shadows are outstanding. That's what I had on my mind.
